Subject to the availability of funds, OSU will provide financial support the elite competitive youth and senior teams as follows:

CRITERIA

• Only the top team at each age group level for youth teams, and highest Division for senior teams, is eligible for support.
• At a minimum, the team must be in an ERSL Regional Division for youth teams, and in the Premier Division for senior teams;
• The team must be at the U-13 age group level or older to qualify;
• In the previous outdoor season, the team must have played in the OYSL, or finished first in the Regional division, for youth teams
  OR
• first in the Premier Division, for Senior teams, or won the ERSL Cup ( Youth teams), or won the Ottawa Cup( Senior teams);
  OR
• The team reached the semi-final of the previous year's Ontario Cup competition, and the semi final was at least the second round played by the team;
• Support will only be provided for outdoor play of the current year;
• The team must be in good standing with OSU (no outstanding team/player fines; no money owed to OSU, OYSL, OCSL, ERSL, EODSA, OSA, other Soccer Teams, other Clubs; and no outstanding disciplinary action).

LEVEL OF SUPPORT

• Ontario Cup entry fee, once the team has issued an invoice to the Club;
• Referee and Linesman's fees for all Ontario Cup games;
• Ontario Cup out of town travel beyond the SOSA District, and beyond the teams first round play; to a maximum of $350
  OR
• Tournament entry fee of the team's choice, once the team has issued an invoice to the Club;  to a maximum of $350
• National Club Championship support will be determined on a case by case basis.
  

HOW TO APPLY FOR CLUB SUPPORT

The request for support must be sent in writing (email is acceptable) to the club administrator at admin@osu.ca

The request must be received by the club within two weeks of the events completion and Club support funds will only be
issued to a team account upon receipt of an invoice from the team.

A TEAM THAT DOES NOT PLAY IN OSU’s COLOURS and CLUB APPROVED UNIFORM WILL AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT ANY FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM THE CLUB UNDER THIS PROGRAM.

OSU WILL NOT ENTERTAIN EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.
