Program Description:
The U16 - U18 age group is a combination of players born in 2001, 2002 & 2003 and falls under the Soccer for Life module of the Long Term Player Development program of the Ontario Soccer Association. They will play in a league format and team sizes will not exceed 20 players. Mix of U16, U17 and U18 players on the same team. Boys and girls play in separate leagues. Boys and Girls program will be separate.

Program Start: Tuesday, May 21st (Boys) & Thursday May 23rd (Girls)

Date: August 17th & 18th Weekend (tentative)

Two Championship Finalist may play the following week
Start Time: 6:30 pm (practice)
Game Time: 7:00 – approx 8:25 pm (possibly an earlier start in mid to late August due to earlier sunset)
Game Length: 2 x 40-minute halves with 5-minute halftime
Target Team Size: 18-20 players
Players on the Field: 11 (including the goalie)

Coaching: Parent Volunteers
Coaching Qualifications: OSU hosts in house clinics for all volunteer coaches.
Friend & Field Requests:
Play will occur at various locations within the general OSU geographic area. Approximately half of the games will take place as near the home location of the players as possible, depending on the fields that are available. OSU will do its best to honour friend requests but there are no guarantees.
