Program Description:

OSU’s Recreational Soccer Camps are focused on having fun and providing kids with the best possible camp and soccer experience.  At camp, kids will learn physical literacy and how to play soccer in a fun and exciting environment with experienced and trained coaches.  Kids will also play a variety of other games and sports, in addition to swimming for full-day campers.


Program Length: 1 week (option to register for multiple weeks)

  • July 3-6 (4 days)
  • July 9-13
  • July 16-20
  • July 23-27
  • July 30-Aug 3
  • Aug 7-10 (4 days)
  • Aug 13-17

Days: Monday-Friday (Tuesday-Friday on short weeks)

Time:

Half-Day: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Full-Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Swimming included)

Drop-Off: 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Pick-Up: 12:00 pm (half-day) & 4:00 - 4:30 pm (full-day)

Locations: Barrhaven (Larkin Park)

Format: Boys & Girls

Ratio: 1 Coach/10 Kids (minimum 2 coaches)

Parents to Provide:                           

  • Shorts & soccer socks
  • Soccer shoes (cleats)
  • Soccer ball

  • Swimwear & towel (full-day only)

Program Curriculum:                         

Weekly programming will emphasize physical literacy and technical soccer skills in the mornings. After a short snack, campers will play a fun game, activity or alternate sport followed by an organized soccer game before lunch.  Full-day campers will swim after lunch and then head back out to the soccer field to train and play before being picked up.
