The OSU College Program is a combination of programs, leadership and opportunities to support the goals
of the talented and committed student athlete.
COLLEGE SHOWCASES
College Showcase events are key to the exposure of players to candidate coaches and support staff from Colleges and Universities across the country. Ottawa South United teams participate Annualy in such exclusive Showcase tournaments as The Sportsource Showcase In Dallas, The Disney College Showcase in Orlando Florida, NCAA College Cup Showcase, and the Jefferson Cup in Virginia.
Over the course of the these tournaments more than 1500 college coaches had the opportunity to view OSU players at these Showcase Tournaments.
COLLEGE PROFILES
OSU have prepared an online system designed to support the individual student player presentation of their Academic and Athletic information.
This profile and roster system is integrated into the toolkit provided to all teams within OSU.
The player information entered is available to all college coaches nationwide and is searched on a regular basis for candidate players.
COLLEGE TOURS / VISITS
OSU teams also plan annual visits and tours to various College campuses and programs to expose the players within our club to the overall experience of playing at the next level.
COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS
Various guest speakers that have included members of the Canadian National Team staff, Division I and II and NAIA Coaches present information and offer Q&A sessions available to all OSU players, parents and families.
